Morning guys,
Came down to my tank this morning and while all lights were off, I looked into the tabk with the light from my phone

A small black ant sized thing ran like Usain back into the dry rock...

Tank is about 16 weeks old and wondering if I should be concerned

What you saw was likely an amphipod. They’re beneficial. I wouldn’t be worried.

The first time i saw one it was like a blur haha i thought it was like a mix between a cricket and a flea based on the sheer speed lol here’s a pic of a couple i saw this morning in my tank- these guys are a cool black & grey while i had only seen the clear/ white ones previously. They are cool to watch & help clean up :)
