Ive been battling dinos awhile and was reluctant to do a 3 day blackout while my corals were still healing from other issues which caused chemistry swings and bleaching in several corals. I ended up going ahead with the blackout despite the corals still healing and I was surprised to see the corals actually did more healing in the 3 day blackout then the couple weeks leading up to it. Does this sound strange to anyone else? Does this indicate a problem with my lights?

It’s just like a storm in the ocean, you will be fine as you found out

If you have dinoflagellates it’s probably caused by very low nutrient levels.

I was actually surprised, they didn't just survive. They did more repair on themselves in those 3 days then the weeks leading up to it. Seemed very strange to me.
