My (new) hippo has been trying to graze on my rock but it has no algae on it. Is this normal? Looks a bit stressed but not sure what to do about it. He is healthy and eating but sometimes swimming very sporadically around the tank. In a 60 gallon as a juvenile for now, getting moved up to a 100 when completely cycled. He is about 1.25 inches give or take.
Any suggestions? What I should do?

Just because you don't see algae does not mean there isn't algae. Could be a dust film of algae on the rock.
