Just ordered one recently after seeing inappropriate reefers vid. I’m not sure that his was the Bluetooth version like I ended up getting though because after I ordered the 2 items ( led bar + controller) they told me that wasn’t necessary . I didn’t realize I had even picked the BT version at first. I have had the older models now for a while with the brick that hangs on the wiring . I think the one he had just had a different plug in. His didn’t have a power brick on his wire. The BT version isn’t compatible with the controllers due to that difference. Im pretty sure this version still has that classic wiring just like the originals do. I can update you soon tho and send some pics if you’d like? Mine should be here pretty soon. Im using it for pop after my whites go off on my radion g5. The ali bars will only have 410nm 430nm 450nm I didn’t leave any of the 460/470 nm diodes in the bar. I run 50% cyan most of the day on the radions I just wanted some extra flow towards the end of the day. I may add a 492/495 diode at some point because that’s something I always add into my diy leds ( just 1 along with all blues and violets ) like the orpheks and I really like that look a lot.

hey David just saw this message. I purchased directly from popular grow on aliexpress just through the app. if you go on there you can type populargrow into the search bar and go right to the store and see all of the products they make. i wanna say that I paid around 65 bucks give or take a few. the only reason I'm not 100 % sure is because i did choose to have my own custom spectrum diodes installed into the fixture. I normally just do that myself at home but they only asked for 18 dollars more for that option which after you take the solder, 3 different spectrum diodes i wanted , and the thermal paste into account it just made more sense to have them do it because that's probably a little cheaper to just do it through them. it also took the risk out of messing with the fixture. they respond really quick when you message them on the app. the time difference is way off but they always get back to you. honestly its a great company to do business with and quality wise its not really that much different than most supplemental led bars on the market in the saltwater industry. they had the custom fixture finished and shipped to me in 4/5 days after ordering and i received it on day 8/9 from china which to me is impressive considering they include free shipping and no taxes on the purchase. it was through dhl. one more thing ill say is the app for the led lighting schedule / intensity obviously isnt great but i have had my light installed and running on a schedule with out issues after finally figuring out the app on day 2 of having the new led bar. the schedule stays on track with the times and intensities i chose. it was confusing because i didnt realize setting the schedule up that even when you want the leds off you have to actually add that into your schedule manually when setting up. you have to set it up for the full 24 hours when you dont want it on for nighttime you just set that times intensity at 0%. lol maybe some ppl knew that right off the bat but i didnt. i was so ticked the first night trying to figure out why my led bar wasnt shutting off for the night. hope that helps sorry for the paragraph dude.

happy reefing

What does your driver look like? I ordered Bluetooth controlled bars but I’m thinking that isn’t what they sent me.
