Is there anyway to confirm brook under a microscope? If so, what sample must be taken?

Is there anyway to confirm brook under a microscope? If so, what sample must be taken?

A fresh skin scrape at 50x to perhaps 100x magnification will work. If you see kidney shaped motile ciliates, about 80 to 100 microns long, that’s likely it.
