Hey, I always get this algae in this one spot between water changes. It’s not the brightest area in the tank. I always siphon the sand in the area. Tank is just about 4 months. Is it brown algae?

A pic would help...but my bet it's just diatoms. Increase the flow in that area and watch your nitrates and it should start to disappear. Just keep in mind your tank is still young and you still have quite a ways to go to get rid of the "uglies"... be patient and everything should work out! :D
