I have some snails in the aquarium but never had these problems, nobody seems to eat them. What do you recommend?
Think of it this way: create an unstable environment for the algae. 1. Pick off algae manually. 2. Brush algae with a toothbrush. 3. Buy some turbo snails. 4. Blow off the rock or frags with a turkey baster. 5. Cut back on lights, 8 hours vs 12 and so on. 6. Increase flow. 7. Keep windows covered. Let these things work for you even while you’re away. These equal complete harassment to the algae. It doesn’t stand a chance.
