Bump on Banggai cardinalfish

Can anyone tell me what this bump is on the side of my cardinal. Thanks

Not that I know of, he's been in the tank for about a year or so with all the same fish.

The picture isn’t super clear, but a tumor or an abscess are two possibilities. It is above the abdominal cavity so hopefully no internal organs are affected.
