It could have been the model used for the liveaquaria website, except for that dark patch under its fin

No, definitely ocellaris! Only sure way to tell is to count the spines. It gets harder to tell the more 'weird' the pattern is, and that pattern is not the standard percula pattern; definitely some tank-bred fancy specimen but I'd guess percula first.
