Wondering if hermits could have babies just notice these when i was heading to bed i took a flash light to peak around and saw atleast 50+ of these tiny tiny shelled things i thought they would be snails since they have a shell but i only have a few big mexican turbos and nothing else, anyone have an idea i have a few pics but they arent the best since i had to zoom in completely they are so tiny little bigger than the ball on the other end of a needle.

Hertmit crabs spawn constantly but they are born without that snail shell which they acquire as they grow.
I doubt you would see any new born hermits in a tank walking around the bottom as they spend some time swimming with plankton before they head to the bottom and start looking for a shell.

You may have baby snails.
