I purchased a bubble coral from a LFS and noticed this weird looking growth(?) on the base of the frag. Can anyone identify? Do I need to do anything to it? I'm relatively new (~6mos) to reefing so please forgive me if I should know what this thing is. :) Thanks for any responses!

OK, I might feel a little foolish. I got this ID'd on another reefing site. And after closer inspection.....it's super glue with some coralline growing on it. *smh* Sorry. My inexperience showing through on this one. At least it's answered.
Please close the thread. Thanks.
