How come almost all the frags are just tiny nubs? Curious as to how a couple of them will look grown out.

I was wondering the same thing? How do you even buy nubs this small? Is a friend hooking you up with some nubs for free or something?

I’m not knocking your pieces or anything. They look great and it’s fun to try to grow stuff out. However, I rarely have success with pieces this small. One small water fluctuation and they’re toast. Good luck! They’re looking great so far.

The higher end corals like you see the op posted are very expensive frags. And usually come in 1/2" frags lately.
It seems to be the trend. But with a stable system and experience they could encrust the frag plug in about 3 months and in a year could be really nice size frags.

some frags are small due to the fact the i moved and most of bigger frags started to RTN so i saved what i could. a little nub is better then nothing. the higher end frag that have, homewrecker, op, solar flare etc are small because a friend of mine went in half's with me and we split the frags.
