@Lasse
I was extremely surprised with the copper & zinc numbers. Ground water was tested to the ppb with no zinc or copper detected.

test were done 6 years ago. I could only find the paper record for Gracilaria Parvispora/Red Ogo

N%. 2.59
P%. 0.082
K% 13.54
Ca%. 0.555
Mg% 1.163
S%. 4.81
Zn ppm at 139
Fe ppm at 107
Mn ppm at 20
Cu ppm at 7
Thank you so much for posting this. Luvs it!

The main reason I did not succeed with commercial venture of edible seaweed, Red Ogo, was because of the bitter taste. I think that taste is reflected in high sulfur content of seaweed at 4.81% almost double the nitrogen content. My makeup water comes directly from 1000’ deep in Trinity Aquifier, which is a limestone formation that was the bottom of an inland sea that coveted much of Texas. The total CaCO3 hardness is 750 ppm, which is almost limewater. Water analysis of ground water showed Sulfate, SO4-S at 189 ppm. I deduced that this was the taste problem and was not economical to fix
