Cheapest place to buy acrylic panels

Hello I'm new to the hobby my wife has been in this hobby for about 2 years. My question is where can I buy acrylic pretty cheap I want to make holders for my controllers and an algea scrubber.

Check around your area for local glass/acrylic shops. For small stuff like holders they may very well have some scrap they'll give you for cheap. I've used a bunch of Home Depot acrylic for various projects as well.

Home depot/lowes has various sized sheets for relatively low cost. If you live in a decent metro area find a local acrylic shop they always sell scraps for a few bucks, super helpful for making other holders/stands, nem boxes, etc

I don't know about cheapest but where I am we have Tap plastics. They have a wide array of choices and will cut anything to size for you I actually had them modify my overflow box for me and they did a great job

piedmont plastics, they are very honest with pricing and have several locations, you can buy the whole sheet and give them a cut list, they will cut it to size so you just have to glue (weld) it together.
