Every time I clean my power heads, it always ends up being covered in hair algae for a few weeks and then the coraline settles in. Only problem is after the coraline settles in and the hair algae is gone, it's time to clean the power head again. the only place that gets hair algae is the power head, nowhere else in the tank has hair algae. Does anyone else get this issue?

You could try wiping them with hydrogen peroxide before placing them in the tank.
