I have a couple of things that were just too large for my 60g system.
I have a reef octopus sro 2000int skimmer that came with my system used. It's a beast, but way too big for my 60g system. I had it running for the last 10 months, but due to being way over sized it was much too sensitive. I ended up downgrading to a smaller skimmer. It's probably much more suited for at least 120g or more.
It runs great.
Full disclosure, a small section of the sheathing on the cord was melted due to a heater accident. The wiring inside was not damaged at all and the sheathing was repaired. It runs fine with no problems. It's been running like that for almost 10 months, but I want to give fair disclosure. You can see it in the photos. It's also running in a vinegar bath as I speak.
Reef octopus sro 2000int ($200)
I also have a couple of used sicce syncra pumps as well.
Sicce syncra 2.0 ($40)
Sicce syncra 3.0 ($60)
