SCIENTIFIC NAME - Pterois radiata
COMMON NAME - Clearfin Lionfish (Radiata Lionfish)
SIZE - 9.4" (24 cm)
MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 30 US Gal. (114 L)
FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty foods, marine fish, crustacean flesh, live Grass shrimp, feeder fish, marine fare live and frozen for carnivores. Feed 3-4 times a week.
REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat shrimp and smaller fishes.
CAPTIVE CARE - Provide adequate hiding places (cave or overhang), do not keep with overly aggressive tank mates that may compete at feeding time. Mostly feeds on crustaceans , will eat small fishes in the aquarium. More than one can be kept in the same tank as long as there are plenty of hiding places and the tank is large enough. CAUTION - THIS IS A VENOMOUS FISH.
