My clown has a hair half in its mouth and half out , I have attached video to help answer my question, it's been about 30mins as I thought it might come out whilst he's swimming, how do I help this poor guy, it's bothering him as he keeps opening his mouth wide,
So I'm thinking of catching him and pull it out with my fingers, should I do this now whilst he's awake or wait until night? Which would be less stressful?
Or do you think I should wait to see if he can spit it out?
Any help will be much appreciated,
Thank you

I would maybe wait a while to see what happens personally

Thank you, Yes, he is flicking his head attempting to dislodge, I'm just concerned if he eats it entirely it might cause more damage or be one long poop

Passer-by comment:

Local reefer friend of mine lost a yellow tang due to a hair causing an internal infection.
Thank you so much, although in my mind I knew what to to do but just little reasurance goes along way, thank you so much

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
