co-op sells 50 lb bags of soda ash for 22 bucks thoughts?

i buy soda ash from my local CO-OP. i use it in my pool to adjust the ALK.. its 22 bucks for a 50 lb bag. Research shows no difference in the soda ash bought from a fish store vers a co-op. thoughts?

Does it carry a purity grade, such as food grade or USP? I prefer such an assurance.
