Could I please get an id on this leather coral

I got it about 8 months ago it’s never fully extended it’s polyps but it gets little stalks like a toad stool and a few times it has had a few white polyps at the ends but never fully opened
As u can see it’s about the size of my fist when it’s closed and grows a little over the size of my fist when opened. I got it for $15 back when I lived in California

Lobophytum looks correct, maybe even a heliopora?

Structure/shape is similar to some heliopora, but it's not a Blue Ridge Coral.

as u can see it’s about the size of my fist when it’s closed and grows a little over the size of my fist when opened.

OP described its size open/closed.
Heliopora would not expand/contract like this as leather corals do. Heliopora actually has a skeleton.

Try giving him more flow to keep detritus off his cap and to entice the polyps to come out...
