Have you had any odd dreams lately? Crabby dreams perhaps?

I found this little hitchhiker munching on an acro.
Trapezia guard crabs are said to consume coral mucus and tissue, though there doesn't seem to be any evidence that this will become an issue.

I think I have the same crab. I bought a new piece of seriatopora and when I checked it better at home, I found this guy hanging out in between the branches. So is this a Trapezia cymodoce? And it is reef safe then?

Yes, he’s very reef safe.. I would just put him back in the coral… they host sps corals and are fun to watch..
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
