SCIENTIFIC NAME: Chaetodon ulietensis

COMMON NAME: Doublesaddle Butterflyfish, False Falcula Butterflyfish

SIZE: 5.9†(15 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE: 75 US Gal (284 L)

FOODS & FEEDING: Feeds on meaty and vegetable marine foods. Should be fed a minimum of 3 times per day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY: No. This species eats tubeworms, mushroom corals, anemones, and stony corals.

CAPTIVE CARE: The Doublesaddle Butterflyfish is initially shy and requires several places to hide in a relatively peaceful tank. Once acclimated, this species will accept most foods (smaller specimens are easier to get to feed), and can be an aggressive feeder. They can be kept in groups in large tanks and they will tolerate other similar looking Butterflyfish such as C. Falcula.
