Eclectus, you can tell by the greenish tint to the body, sometimes yellow as well. JB are more of pumpkin/goldish like orange
100% Agreed here. Love the orange in OP shroom!
There are exceptions though.
Apparently some old school pumpkin orange color JB will totally morph to green:D

They have the Andres or green monster JB that get a lot of green to them. I think what is posted above might be an eclectus but could be wrong.

This Eclectus I got awhile ago and isn’t like the common ones you see often. The shade of green is different

Beautiful shroom! Looks like a missing link of something in between TBH.
I do believe your right that OP shroom is electus.
I love the Andres JB and last one im getting for my collection. To me the Andres looks like a soft but bright green.
The green that came in on my JB is more vibrant than the electric looking electus green. Just doesn't have a electric sheen to it but alot brighter than electus I have if that makes sense.

I also have another JB that has the regular orange and another shade of orange, not the normal red. Really unique. It’s so tiny now, excited to see what it turns into

JB/Eclectus are my favorite corals. Don’t get me wrong the bounces are cool but it’s just so fun to watch the colors come in

Yup totally know what you mean. Super bright green on the regular JB. Can’t wait for a few of mine to develop a lot more green.

Is this the Andres? Ive been seeing more and more JB developing the green lately. Probably do that after they are in captivity for awhile. Total guess on my part about that.
Awesome shroom man!

So hard to say with the babies but would be awesome if it kept that scheme!

Awesome shroom man!

No just a regular JB. One of the original strains, not sure which one but maybe poletti. The vendor said he got the huge colony from a collector who had it for about 10 years. It has good genes as most of the babies get green pretty quick.

I want an andres so bad but I know they don’t ship well. Hopefully one day I’ll get a chance to grab one in person.

Very interesting. I got my Poletti lineage from reefpro. Its the one I posted that morphed on me.
