I did a hyper-saline dip on the rock I suspected to harbor a Eunice worm. I pulled a brittle star, two bristle worms, a spaghetti worm, and this...

I’m pretty certain this is what I saw poking out of a hole last night, but I can’t be certain. It does appear to have multiple antennae at the head and what I could have mistaken for a white band around the neck under red light. Can anyone ID this worm? I dropped it back into a bucket just in case it’s a good guy.

Gotta do that late night hitchhiker hunting! My white tail bristletooth tang has been coming out in the morning with superficial physical damage, so I’m also trying to figure out what could be harming it overnight.

It sleeps in a cave under the biggest rocks each night. It doesn’t seem to wedge itself, but just hangs out down there. It started with damage to the pectoral fin rays, then a couple of days later two large dull spots on one side. Then, this morning it came out with a scrape on the top of its head. I suppose it could be hurting itself on the rocks at night, but I’m not positive. At first, I thought the coral banded shrimp might be picking on it since it used to share the same cave, but it hasn’t been going in there lately.

Well, it’s probably from scratching... I just found ich on my Bella goby’s tail and what might possibly be tiny ich on the white tail tang. So much for Diver’s Den quarantining their fish...
