I leave them. Good filter feeders. They tend to not grow in areas that are getting decent light.

it may have to go downstairs as the new layout does not have any low light areas really and it was kinda hidden before

If you plan on moving it, keep it in water don't expose it to air...it usually tends to kill them.

Thanks for reminding me, I vaguely remembered something like that. I wish it looked better I would leave it in the display, well looks and it really does not have a home now.
