Foxface has bumps

I noticed yesterday that my foxface has a couple of small bumps, almost like zits. I'm worried it could be a parasite or infection of some kind. It would be weird that it's waited over 2yrs to show up though. Do older fish get tumors like many older mammals do? He's a little over 5yo, which to my understanding is getting up there for a foxface. The last fish was added 2 years ago, and every fish went through quarantine and prophylactic treatment before being put in the DT. Haven't added any corals, cuc, or rock in over a year either. Does anyone know what the bumps might be, and what action I might need to take?

This often happens from skin irritation and also from ich where these little bumps contain fluid or mucus and cause this effect
There looks like a couple at its face also?
If so, you may want to quarantine and treat before this progresses. If you see added dots by tomorrow, quarantine for sure

If he's got something yucky, is it safe to assume everyone else has it too? Would it be more efficient to try treating the whole tank? A few months ago I had a leak and all these guys were crammed cheek by jowl in spare tanks too small for them while I got a replacement. I'd hate to have to do that to them again.

If he has ich, it's safe to assume that the rest do as well. this would be a 30 day treatment followed by a fallow period of 45-76 days depending on the protocol you use. Agree with Vetteguy - there do look to be spots on the face - but there are also spots on the glass so it's a bit hard to see. Are the spots coming and going? Again if so - it's more likely to be Ich as compared to injury.

Sorry, the white flecks everywhere is just the remnants of the food I'd dumped in there to coax him out. He's always been very shy. I don't see any white spots or other bumps on him, and he's not scratching himself on the rocks or open mouth breathing or anything. Acting very normal- just bumpy.

for some reason micro bubbles always seemed to randomly get stuck to the side of my foxface, did think it was ick a few times. however it doesn’t look like that as shown in the photo

Have you recently added any invertebrates? They can bring disease into you tank if they came from a tank with an active fish infection. Otherwise, given the history of this fish, and the way the spots look, this is not any of the common fish diseases.

Nope. The only thing I've added recently is a bottle of tisbe pods from Pod Your Reef. Haven't even bought any new corals in over a year. I supposed I'll just keep an eye on him and if he starts acting like something's wrong, I'll try to catch him and put him in QT. Thanks!
