giesemann infiniti bulb off to one side why?

Just got an old 600mm giesemann infiniti 2 x 24w t5 and 1 x 150w metal halide bulb. I noticed that the bulb is significantly over to one side.
Why is this?

I saw that but it doesn't really explain why to me

Ah ok I get it now. I have just moved it back to the center. They always seem to show it off-center in the pictures so wonder if that is optimal?

I am only running it on a small cude of 24 inches wide similar to a reefer 170 so would the central position be optimal?

Run it in the center unless you have a rock structure that needs more light off to the side.
