kinda scary but I’m going to try and drill a 20 gallon tank to make a refugium. I’ve seen a few videos and it doesn’t look that difficult. I picked up a used 20 gallon tank on OfferUp and it’s going to sit next to the sump. Wish me luck !

Good luck! It's only a problem if the glass is tempered, lol.

Once you drill few times you wonder why it ever made you nervous.

In the last 12mo. I've drilled 10 glass tanks. I use plumbers putty, fill with water. I did view videos first. Just don't press hard drills easy, patience

Slow and easy. Less pressure as you get toward the end.

If you’re nervous about drilling tanks then you can usually find a broken tank for free and practice drilling multiple holes in the panels that are still in tact. After about 3-5 holes you will likely be comfortable!
