Mantis shrimps are my favorite animals on this planet, and I'm absolutely obsessed with them. I already have a male approx. 4-5in. named Henry that I've had for over a year. I bought a female on Sunday and today is her second day in her new home. She might just be a little moody, but she's already killed and eaten a clam, 3 astrea snails, 2 emerald crabs, I just watched her catch a minnow and eat it, and I feed both of the mantis' each day. Yes, they are both peacock mantis shrimps and have their own tanks. I've decided to name her Hannah. Here's some pics!

Absolutely one of natures crowning achievements. Amazing creatures to watch. Well, unless it's been unknowingly put in your reef and it's taunting you while you try to catch it. Been there, done that. LOL!
