Hello! What could this green algae on the glass be? I know the little purple guy is coraline. I just finished battling Dino and in my process I dosed nitrate and pho. Also didn’t clean the glass for several weeks. Is this good or bad stuff, the sides and more top of the glass also have a green film everyday that I clean off and it almost “powders” off. I would say diatoms but it’s green in hue. Thanks for any help!

If powders off then basic film algae. I have to clean my glass every 2 to three days. If it is more solid that have to scrape then just a green coraline Normal stuff not to worry.

didnt know green coraline was a thing!
Yes! Also some say a lot of the purple algae starts off green then turns purple but not really sure if theory or truth I do have to scrape off hard green stuff now and then. Like I said either way none are harmful. I use the film algae as an indicator if nitrates and pho’s rising if I need to wipe glass more often.
