Just when I think I have determined which one i think I have, the next thing I read makes me lean the other way. I now know one is reef safe and one is not. My DT does not have any SPS corals but I do have a couple of feather dusters and a couple med/large cleaner shrimp. Does anyone have any experience with this fish that can tell me pro and cons? Right now he is in my QT tank and I can take him back to the LFS if need be.

Thanks for your help!

Sigh....thanks for the help. I was afraid it was the non reef safe one. I guess he will have to go back to the LFS.

Well, just to be clear "reef-safe" is a relative term. Doesn't sound like you have a whole lot in the tank making it a reef. Are you planning on more corals?

I have a anemone, some mushrooms, zoas, palys, feather dusters and cleaner shrimp. I have not tried any SPS corals since I have only been keeping a saltwater tank for a little over a year. My main concern was my shrimp and feather dusters if I kept this fish. I really would like to add another one because it is a stand out fish.
