There is something that looks like a ball of moving hair eating a peppermint shrimp. It finished the front half and is quickly working through the tail end. Any idea what it is?

I vote spaghetti worm. One of the biggest ones I've ever seen. Really cool. Are you sure it was a whole shrimp or a molt?
There was meat in that tail. It ate for hours. I bought some live rocks that had coral on them and I’ve seen over a dozen different hitchhikers spread out over the tank ever since. We are very new to the saltwater hobby but longtime freshwater aquarium addicts. The reef tank feels like a different planet.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
