Halymenia Durvillei Life Cycle ?

Purchased some Halymenia strains with varying degrees of success on them. I am particularly interested in how reef keepers have been keeping their durvillei colony alive each year. How exactly do you cut back the plant to keep it from dying.

Is it as simple as cutting up the algae and fragging it manually to keep it growing?

Never had a cycle wend I had mine, just high nutrients and it used to grow like mad.

What type of lighting did you have it under?

12 and 18k it gets the fire look best at 18k
