Hanna ULR Phosphate Tester - Have I been using it wrong this entire time?

I didn't create this thread to have my routine critiqued. I created it to show there is a HUGE difference between the two ways of testing and I didn't know why.

The directions only tell you to do it one way.

you did, in fact, ask about correct testing procedures and every poster in this thread has volunteered time and expertise to help you improve your coral health by helping you test better.

It wasn't that I didnt like the answers I was given. I do appreciate everyone's response helping out. I guess it came across wrong. I wasn't asking if the way I normally test was correct. I was asking about the way I did it the specific way the other night because of the high reading. Ultimately, I was Just looking to understand why the reagent does what it does.

Again dont want it to come across any other way. Appreciate the help.

I am sure they tested every possible outcome. Hanna is a lab testing company. This is how and why they have the specific instructions to test the way they do. I will reach out to Hanna and see what they have to say.

OK - the reason for the change is air bubbles on the inside of the cuvette.

They sure make it look easy in the video lol. Now if they would find better container for powder of better yet liquid reagent then using one would be easy.
