I feel like for all of us, we want our tank thriving with life. Our coral to being bright and colorful and our fish to be happy as well. However, sometimes something we get doesn't thrive immediately and might seem grim at the time. I am wondering. Have you ever had fish or coral that did not seem like it was going to do well in your tank, yet surprised you and is/did really well? Curious to hear what everyone says!

back in October I had just started growing coralline, my LFS had a few Setosa frags that were bleaching out and he threw one in with some Zoas I bought. It surprisingly recovered quickly and so far has been my best grower. It’s definitely tripled in size. Pardon the messy glass I’m cleaning it now :D
