When it comes to tank size, there's always pros and cons about picking any sized tank. I am wondering which sized tank have you had more success with, small ones or big ones? Maybe it has been easier for you to keep up with maintenance on a smaller tank, or maybe you enjoy the challenge of having a larger tank. Curious to see what everyone says!

I'm 8 months into my red sea reefer 350 mixed reef. prior to that 10 years ago I had a 20 long mixed reef with a 50 gallon stock tank for a sump. The 20 gallon was actually easier to keep stable, for some reason :grinning-face-with-sweat:

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
