Vinegar is a source of carbon like vodka or biopellets. It will feed bacteria that reduce your nitrates and some phosphates. I dose 45ml daily with a peristaltic pump when the lights are on when oxygen is at maximum since the carbon source reduces the oxygen in the water. 15ml at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.
