Heater placement I know it's been asked a million times

safe location? Trying to be smart and I don't want the cord for my skimmer to get burnt up

You could also just pull it over to the side and zip tie it to the skimmer standpipe to keep it pulled over away from the heater.
That's a good idea I didn't think about.

That's a good idea I didn't think about.
That’s still really close. I would guess that as long as it doesn’t touch you should be okay. Also, it probably isn’t ideal with it attached to the lid since that part needs to come out for cleaning regularly.

Great point I was just thinking I would be ok with the zip ties. But I guess I might be wrong I need to figure out the best thing to do with the heaters not touching the skimmer
