Nice at least you know what it is. after you remove it you can work on what caused it.

How can i remove it off the frag plugs?
It’s deff not the most conventional method, but if you have 2 part you can take some tank water in a cup, add 10ml alk and stir. Then dip the frag plug. Algae just gets cooked right off if it’s above 12 alk. Like I said not the most conventional way but I have never ever lost a coral with this method.

I raise my tank alk to 11 for about a week every 6 months. It cooks off algae, colors up coral and usually gives a little growth spurt. It is risky though for sensitive coral and don’t raise it all in one day. Some lps will shrink for a few days if you’ve done to much.
Be careful! Also don’t do it if you have any sick fish, and only a week or your snails will cook too.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
