I had a large ball of chaeto taking over my fuge, so I trimmed it back down to about tennis ball size. Now the chaeto is dwindling away and being replaced by long wide ribbons of green algae. Any idea what it is?

Looks like Caulerpa Prolifera, another type of macro algae.
