Hi,

Fairly new to the saltwater side of things and recently got a large rock of Zoa's to keep away from main rocks and have a zoa island. Was having a look the other morning before lights on and noticed movement and saw some claws, but couldn't really get a good look. Got the attached video where i think its a type of crab but have had someone else say could be pistol shrimp?? im in New Zealand and neither options are for sale here ( we have the worst options in the world for marine tanks here). Anyone know what I'm looking at and whether or not i should get it out of there?

Thanks!

Zooming in you can see the crab face. Not sure it's an emerald or not though.

Its a crab. . . but need to see body to see what type. It lacks black tip, so safe thus far and may be a mithrax- Black mithrax possibly
