I was recently out of power in the Southeast for about 60 hours. Thankfully, the temperature outside was only in the low 50’s during that time. My house temperature was 62 degrees by the second day. My tanks dropped to 66 degrees during that time before I could get the heaters on. I maintained minimal water flow through the sumps for all but about 8 hours. I lost a Fox flame SPS coral and a couple of the more sensitive zoas I had, acid reflux was one, but otherwise everything else survived. It took about a week for everything to perk up. I have never needed more than my battery backups before. I’ll be adding a generator to the list soon, I was lucky to be able to borrow one for this instance.
