How do I get rid of my Kenya tree corals? They reproduction of fast and get a solid grip on new rock. I try pulling get them out but most of the time they rip at the base and release crap into the tank and regrow. Any thought?

You could try cutting them as close to the base as you can with some scissors and then smother the remaining tissue with some epoxy. Being that this only takes a few seconds to do though I would just let them grow and then repeat this process every so often.

Those two options still have it release toxins into the tank and neither prevent it from growing back. The darn things are indestructible!

Fenbendazole should work. But be very careful. It will wipe out most all softies. (not shrooms or zoas) Follow some of the more current threads on Blue clove polyps and Hydroids.

cutting it off at the base and them applying kalk paste would probably do it. If you want them gone without releasing anything into you tank you are going to have to remove the rock.

I cut mine off or pull up from the sand as needed and give away to other local reefers that want them.

If u wanted to pay for shipping I would sell u a bunch for like 10 bucks or trade but if u just wanted a little it wouldn't be a big deal.
