I’m sure this has been covered in here before but any search including the word “sterilize” is pulling up a bunch of stuff about UV stetilizers. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I’m looking for steps on how to sterilize a QT and equipment (filter, tank, heater, thermometer, cleaning supplies...) after a bout of illness (flukes in particular). Any help?

To remove biofilm/meds, etc.: Wash with Bleach, rinse, rinse, rinse, and completely dry
To remove copper: Wash with Vinegar (precipitates the copper into a harmless form), rinse, rinse, rinse, and completely dry
For an especially nasty disease like velvet, brook, uronema, etc.: Wash with hydrogen peroxide, rinse, rinse, rinse, and completely dry
