How to tell if monti is doing fine

I got a small piece of monti capricornis yesterday from a raffle and I have seen the requirements for light, flow, etc. from liveaquaria, but with most sps you can see the polyps extend when it is happy. Where are the polyps located on it and how can I tell if it is doing good.
