The build is a work in progress. Started building a platform because I wanted drains under the tank. There's 5 drains under the tank with 2 drain stand pipes stubbed up. Incase I have to do emergency wc I can start the ciphon and put the house into the stand pipe and let it go. Let's Starts with the big boy a 96"X 30"X 30"tank. Sitting beside my 150 gallon Xtra high tank. Sump is 48"X 24"X 24". That's attached to a refugium that's 36"X24"X24". With a second refugium attached that's 24"X24"X24". Circulation is (2) Vectra L2's. The close loops are 2 Vectra S2's. Filtration is a Reef Octopus 6000ext skimmer. I'm upgrading that to the Reef Octopus 8000ext. That's being pushed by a Varios 8 pump that also feeds a Pentair 180 watt UV sterilizer. There is also a Vectra L2 that serves 2 purposes. The 1st is the return for the 150 gallon tank and 2nd I created a loop from the last refugium back to the sump. That flow is about 500 gallons per hour. Estimate! Lighting is 8 Reason G5's. Getting ready to add strip Quantro LED lights. I have the Apex and Triton full line. The Focustronic complete line. Mastertronic, Alkatronic, and Dosetronic. Pls I inherited the GHL setup. The basics are setup now and running. The water change station is still being built along with the rest of the stand. Fortunately I've been working to many hours. But you know how that goes. Either we got time and no money or we have money but no time. LOL! I'm wrestling with making the big tank bare bottom and strictly acros? The 150 strictly LPS? The system will have Ozone going to the skimmer. I'm considering the calcium reactor going through the skimmer also to help degas the CO2? I know the macro algae would and will like some of it? Finally, haven't decided which monitor/ controller will be installed? Any suggestions?
