So, if you've read my ramblings over the years, you've probably seen me only half-jokingly question the whole Chalice thing:

Then, this week I was walking down one of the raceways here at UC, and I saw this little Chalice:

And it once again made me realize that I'm being a grumpy old reefer or something! That's a cool coral!

And my partner, Joe Caparatta, is a big Chalice fan- so we have a LOT of Chalices! So the bottom line is that I am starting to get the whole "Chalice thing"...well, sort of! I actually do like the variety and the (LOL) unique nature of them.

And seeing them actually grow out from frags in our own facility has definitely contributed to me changing my tune!

So, you Chalice lovers out there- I still think you're weird, but we can help you with your Chalice fix....I'm going back to my seagrasses and Star Trek reruns now...I'm the normal one around here! :tongue:

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
