Please help I'd. Suspect it's majano. But not sure. Tips are purple under lighting.

May be impossible to tell without better pictures/pictures of the organism in water. That said, typically anemones will curl up/invert when they are out of water so I would not expect to see defined structures like I am seeing in the picture. . . still gonna need better pictures.

Thank you for the reply. It does not retract at all. Not surewhat it is but is growing fast. Hopefully the new picture can help with an id.

Honestly, all I can see is an SPS coral (I'm terrible at SPS ID at the moment, so I don't know what kind - sorry).

Only I see out of the ordinary may be a ball anemone but hard to depict with reflection from LED in the pic
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
