Anyone know what this is? I have seemed to have a hair algea bloom and them this dude popped up

It’s kinda blurry but if talking about the starfish it’s probably an asterina.

Never seen that myself but people report it..

Some people say they may possibly eat some zoas, but generally speaking they won’t eat any corals.

So I've had this tank for quite some time now with nothing new added in prob 6 months or so where would that have come from?

Only a small group of asterina starfish will eat coral. And few are found in our tanks though it does happen. They can irritate corals and climb over them so people think they are eating them as well.
