Hey! I just wanted to share my mixed reef tank here to show people how amazing this hobby is

Here I’ve recently switched over from a Red Sea Reefer 170 (Bare bottom) to an Innovative Marine EXT100, I have now been running this tank for about 4months now. As you can see in the photos I put a couple before and now after pics. from recent times. If you have any questions please leave them down below or feel free and leave a comment! Thanks

Update: I’m also having a little burning on the tips of my acros, I believe it is cause of my bottom out nutrients! Any tips on bringing my nutrients up without putting chemicals in? *skimmer not running atm, also only running filter socks*

Looking great!! My only suggestion on raising nutrients naturally would be to feed more or export a little less... not necessarily that helpful, but hopefully others will weigh in too.

I’ve been off from this Website in a good while. Glad to be back! I will certainly be on/off here lolz seems like I’m more into Instagram now.

Update: I have added an algae scrubber to help with my nutrient levels and to also reduce the amount of times I have to scrap my glass every week! As of 9/2/22, I’ve started dosing the powder form of All-For-Reef. My kalkstirrer was dang near set at max dosage due to it dosing too much for my tank to even evaporate!

Parameters I really only test are Alk, Phosphate & Nitrate. Using ALL Hannah checkers :)
Alk~ 7.4Dkh
Phosphate~ .08ppm
Nitrate~ 1ppm
